BGA RULE CHANGES
UPDATED COMPONENTS
The Apiary: Expanding the Hive expansion includes some updated components from the base game. The following components from the expansion are used on BGA:
- Updated Arti and Cecro faction tiles
- Updated Engineer and Pharmacist recruit tiles
- The Exploration Token that awarded 2 Seed Cards has been replaced with a 1 Seed Card Exploration Token.
PASSIVE EFFECTS
Some effects let passive players gain something out of turn (for example, a resource or an optional move on the Queens Favor track); these benefits occur at the start of that player's turn (instead of immediately). Also, if a worker is bumped (and does not hibernate), the bumped player can decide to add the worker to their active pool or landing area at the start of their next turn. This helps speed up play as there is less turn switching. It also allows the active player to undo moves that provide passive effects.
