Get ready to shift your perspective, literally! Verso, the vibrant and strategic card game of dual-sided decisions and clever sequencing, is now available.
Designed for sharp minds and quick eyes, Verso invites you to flip your way through evolving landscapes of land, sea, and sky, represented by the game’s lush color scheme of green, blue, and orange. With every card offering a different face (and fate) your choices will ripple across the board.
Each game begins with a custom-built deck of 15 double-sided cards per player. Each card shows:
- A color: green (land), blue (sea), or orange (sky)
- A number (1–6 or a Joker)
- A Victory Point value (1 or 3)
But flip it over, and you will find a different color, an adjacent number, and the opposite VP value, adding layers of depth to every draw!
On your turn, you will do one of two things:

Draw a card: Place it in your tableau either as-is or flipped, but careful! Each color must stay in its own row, and duplicates are discarded.

Bank a sequence: Got a run of 2–6 cards in the same color? Cash it in for VP equal to the cards’ total. Then, discard your top two cards in the sequence.
But there is more: when you bank, your neighbors suffer a flip effect, forced to flip their highest non-joker card of that color, and possibly discard it if it’s now a duplicate.
While collecting sequences scores you steady points, true strategists will aim for a 3×3 square — three cards in each of the three colors laid out in a grid. Hit that magic square and you will earn a bonus 7 VP, no matter whose turn it is!
(You will need to bank a sequence before you can score another square, so plan wisely.)
Once the deck is empty, every player banks one last sequence (no flips this time) and the player with the most VP wins!
Flying solo? Verso includes a compelling single-player mode where a simulated opponent keeps you on your toes by flipping your highest cards unpredictably. Can you beat the designers’ top score of 64 points?
