You probably couldn't display all the other players' boards, but it's not that important to see what other players are doing. I know this issue/ability has been addressed in both versions of Welcome To, which can handle up to 12 players online.
I kinda like the idea of passing pencils, but it's not only COVID-unfriendly, it also defeats one of the strongest features of roll/flip&writes : everyone has the same resources, and usage is what makes the difference, more than the rolls.
When I end-up with a few more (or less) points than my opponent in Railroad ink, I can see what made the difference, and may notice I made some mistake, lacked of flexibility with my choices, etc...
But here, we just played 2 different games, and can't compare anything / learn from each others... quite frustrating :/
