Last week a had all Sounds during a Game on my IPad available, but now BGA is completely silent in all Games. A friend of mine with an IPad has exactly the Same Problems.

Issue on this is on the iPad. Unfortunately, websites don't have the possibility to play sounds on Apple iPad/iPhone. Pressure on this should be put on Apple, not on web developers.

Leaving this report open so that people can see this information, and maybe get together to petition Apple. Who knows what can happen.

Never had sound on my iPad EXCEPT when playing Splendour which must have sound set up differently. If that could be reproduced for all games we would have sound from iPads.

Same problem.
Test other websites and sound test and all seem to work properly on iPad except for BGA.
Seems like an easy thing to fix.
Not sure why it’s not fixed.

I have the same issue I have no sound on my iPad air 2 or my iPad 5 using chrome or safari. If I move the volume slider up and down like 10-20 times it'll work, although sometimes it'll break again midgame and I have to do that again. But every time I start a new game it has no sound to start.

Bonjour,

Depuis le "relooking" du site, le son est extrêmement bas et ne peut pas être augmenté, si l'on tente de le faire cela ne marche et créé un problème supplémentaire, à savoir qu'on ne peut plus descendre en bas de la page.
Le.son fonctionnait très bien avant, c'est très gênant de jouer sans aucun son. Ce problème est quotidien, que l'on soit sur smartphone ou sur un ordinateur portable.

I have found a work around at least while playing 7 wonder duel. Only at the begining while its your turn to chose wonder. Quickly click on the sound ico twice, so first it de activaets, then activates, then try scorolling the sound bar same time chose your wonder. some how while you change the volume + select your wonder the sound gets ativated. Only missing thohgh the end game winning sound, when you lose you hear it though. Yes super duper wiered :-P. May be other games can be solved like this too. but again every table u have to it again usually .

I check here every so often to see if this issue is fixed. It is incredible that it still persists. Inexplicably it seems the developers cannot reproduce the bug too. My iPad Pro has no sound in game except for intermittently at the start of some games. I don’t use the site much because of this problem.

Have the developer's been able to reproduce this yet? iPad or iPhone. Open Splendor. Glorious sound! :) Open any other game... the sound of silence. Whatever is different in Splendor, needs to be replicated to the other games. It would be so nice to have turn notifications, etc, via sound. Thank you!

Een - I actually discussed this with an Apple developer. There is not a problem on Apple's end. It is a security measure. It is how the code is written. If you look at Splendor on this site, there IS sound. Ios needs the code to respond to the user either scrolling or clicking. Once that is done, sound will be played. Hence, there is sound when we click to take chips in Splendor. It would be nice if BGA could work WITH Apple instead of telling us that we need to petition them to change their operating system. What is BGA doing to fix this for your paying customers?

Same problem here, super annoying. Of course websites can play sound on iPad, there are thousands of other websites you can go find that play sound. Even this website plays sound. SOMETIMES.

I upgraded both my iPhone and iPad to the new iOS 17, I now have sound in several of the games I play. Lucky Clovers, Sea Salt and Paper, Solo and Bunny Kingdom. This is looks promising!
