You didn't include a move number or screenshot, so you've really limited how much we can help you, but generally speaking if the buy button is grayed out, it's because you can't afford anything.

How much sunshine did you have? Which gear were available?

Sorry. I noted i would upload the photos at PC. It is hard to do on the ipad. I also wanted to put helpful notes on the screenshot which I have to do on the PC. Here are the photos to help you diagnose the problem. The images will show the move number, but I think it started on move 58. I tried undo a few times to see if I could get around it to keep playing. update: I think move 58 might have been after the first undo as I was trying to figure out what was going on.

Wait... these screenshots show that you could have purchased anything, but you were hoping to confirm the selection (with the button) before making the selection.

Just choose a gear to buy! They're all highlighted in your screenshot, showing you can click any of them.

well I feel stupid. I forgot you had to click on a card. I do not often buy gear. I was also playing after midnight if that helps my case :). My apologies for the mistake.

I did just realize something. Why was the “buy gear” button lit up/enabled on move 60? I did not have a gear card selected and none were outlined in green.
