e reiskaarten van de trekstapel en de aflegstapel worden doorde startspeler samengevoegd en goed geschud. Hij deelt aanalle spelers acht nieuwe reiskaarten uit. De spelers hebben vande vorige beurt tussen de nul en de vier kaarten over. Aldus hebben ze de volgende beurt acht tot twaalf reiskaarten.
Translated it says you can have 8 up to 12 cards at the beginning of the next round.
It really makes a difference, that you dont get the extra cards. There is no use to keep cards at the end of a round. So everybody plays all cards. Much less strategic.
Strongly urge to change the game in this aspic. Will not play this again, if it stays this way.

If I look at the rules referenced to by BGA (in Dutch) it indeed still mentions the rules I'm used to (as in you CAN have 12 cards in your hand).
If I look at the English rules, then it says indeed explicitely that the dealer deals until they have 8 cards in their hand.
For me it was a very unwelcome surprise the first time I played it. And personally I also enjoy it less. So can it be included as an option? Or at least have some clear sign for newcomers that this rule might differ from the rules they know?
