Had to place them all in other locations as the game wasn't allowing me.

Similar problem. Tile discarded during the last move in a 7x7 game, despite being able to place the tile. Based on the other bugs reported for this game, there seems to be some kind of adjacency/tile validity check happening even though the printed rules say that the only validity to be checked for is that a tile fits.
I had space to fit my last tile, but the computer discarded it automatically.
I had moved my Kingdom down 2 spots earlier.
When I refreshed, the Kingdom was moved back up one spot, and the tile was already placed in a spot not of my choosing,
This wrecked my game, not possible to even try to save it, because I had to discard a tile.
I lost 17 points.
