I also noted you needlessly took some cards, so I think that you are lacking method and this report is not related to any bug.

i tried to solve the case based on the cards I had played and failed. thus losing 2 points and potentially the whole game! The cards I have played and the counters that appeared on my screen make it absolutely impossible for my solving to be wrong. Therefore I must conclude that some of the counters have not appeared on the board after I have played a card. This has spoilt the game!
Sorry not to be more explicit, as your game is in progress, and your opponents would be disadvantaged by outside help at your table.
There are still no bugs.
